KA1ZGC writes " Late this afternoon, our club was contacted by the mother of Steve Libby, N1IJD, with the sad news that he passed away in his station on the evening of New Year's Eve. Steve was 49. Steve was a very active ham, a skilled and avid photographer, a mason, and a downright loveable guy. He was a member of the Growstown Repeater Users, providing radios, a generator, and stacks of photos every year for the GRU club's Field Day activities. Steve will be missed by everyone in the Growstown Repeater Users club, and many hams in Northern New England. Services to be announced.
