Michael J. Podawiltz KF9X Mar. 02, 1959 - Feb. 22, 2026 Michael J. Podawiltz, known as Mike, was born on March 2, 1959, and passed away February 22, 2026 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. He married his grade-school sweetheart, Diane Maerz, on September 27, 1986. Michael's professional life was marked by his role as a Risk Specialist at Honeywell. Michael was a kind, caring, and intelligent man with a great sense of humor, and a love for making puns. Michael was survived by his wife, Diane. and their two daughters, Brynn and Kiera. He is preceded in death by his parents, John Podawiltz and Betty Podawiltz Csoma. The family extends a special thank you to the Port Edwards and Wisconsin Rapids' first responders and EMTs for the care they provided to Michael. His memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of his loved ones and also who knew him. No formal services will be held. This is but a glimpse into Michael's life.
