Hi Paul Sorry for the late reply,
you asked a really good question there,
it all depends on what you are looking for and what your personal preferences are

the Leonessa is a Fast key because of the Paddle spacing, you can go pretty fast without losing control and with a minimum amount of effort,
the finger pieces are a lot thinner made out of aluminium .
even though the Expedition has a little wider paddle spacing it is still a pretty solid key,

had i gotten the Expedition first, I would not have gone for the Leonessa to be really honest,

the Expedition is modeled after the Sculpture just in a different body shape, the mechanics are a lot closer to the sculpture
you set up the key how you like it and it will pretty much remain as is, until you make any other adjustments from there,

even though the Expedition has a smaller size and little lighter in weight, it's not going to move on your desk, I have tried to make it move, but it won't HiHi,

the Expedition is actually nicer in person, I am not sure why this key don't get a lot of attention, BUT it's nice, really nice, I prefer it over the other Begali models that has the right angle arms like the magnetic classic, as i said before, had i gotten the Expedition model first, then I would have been very satisfied, but the service from Bruna Begali was 10000000%
    customer service at it's best,
I will recommend the Expedition for sure, you wont be disappointed,
I feel better about the purchase, than
buying that Kent TP1 which i may just give away,
don't get me wrong, the Leonessa is a Great key, its better in contesting i have come to realize, so
which explains, the reason to have more than 1 key for different radios and purposes, Hihi,

feel free anytime to email me with any other questions you may have I'm good on QRZ,
will be a lot faster than following the thread,

    hope this helps

    Brown Brothers BTL and CTL-B.
I used the BTL with a VVF keyer since the 70's
Misplaced them both sometime in late 1990's.
    Looked and looked.
Got a hamkey copy of the later BTL with leaf springs. It was not the same.
Bought the CTL-B and it wasn't a month before the BTL and VVF turned up.
Need to get the VVF running again and set up the 70's TX/RX.

Why is something always in the last place you look?

Because, you stop looking when you find it!

This is my only key. For now. Begali Mag Pro. Very nice key and I'm very happy with it.
