I am pretty much through with this topic anyway. Seems the only way this will get resolved is if the FCC and I guess ISP's get flooded with complaints to QRT the whole thing.

Sorry, I'm not through with it. Can someone tell me why the ARRL isn't pushing the FCC to do something about this? The ARRL is supposed to represent us hams, therefore they should be acting on this problem.

I think the content of those audio files falls under the first, second (a stretch, but do you have releases for every person recorded?),  third, fourth and fifth points.

Every other webhost has very similar policies.

I now must join the fray.....,  I have yet to listen to the recordings in question and perhaps never will, I do not need to.  We, as hams, should all be aware, that our tickets are a privilege to avail ourselves the opportunity to partake in activities that are set aside by our Government and Govermnents of the World and we should use these privileges responsibly.
       It should also be rememberd that the RF is in the public domain and may/can be listened to by anyone who so chooses.  This also extends to the recording of what is out there, this is not commercial material,and as such once it is in the ether it is out of your control . One should watch what they transmit if they  have any fear as to what may come of it .
        Would I like to be recorded ?  NO , but I know it is a possibilty , some may say its already a reality .
           Bottom line       Dont shoot the messenger !  If you have fear of being caught then terminate the behavior !

I have hours of recordings of the hypocrites of the local ham club. I play them when I want to remember what it means to be a bad ham.

So I guess the big question is...

What is the FCC waiting for?

I guess maybe they should worry about busting people for not IDing every 10 minutes, or terminate someones license because they forgot to send in the renewal. That definately sounds much worse than swearing, threatening, sexual remarks, obscenity.

Why aren't they going after the people that are REALLY causing problems?

You can tell me that they are building up information before they go in for the hit. NAH, I don't beleive it for one second.

If this has been going on for this long, there is obviosly a reason or someone $$$ the FCC, so they can't get in trouble. Something ISN't right here, and someone needs to shut them down, not later, but NOW.

I listen the live audio feed and wonder if it's not on Citizens Band that I'm actually listening to. or Perhaps Family Radio Service in an inner-city location.

You sure as heck can't tell the difference, in fact I think CB at times may actually be better than listening to 435.

Who's ready to right a letter to the FCC stating that us, as licensed amateurs are ready for the FCC to do something about these people ruining the reputation of our hobby. I would like to start a large letter and get it signed by everyone who supports this.

Your probably saying, I'm in Pennsylvania, why should I worry about this and get in other people's business? WHY...because it is everyones duty as hams to make sure the hobby is utilized properly and not abused.

Don't think I'm going to stop here, and let it go by, I won't stop until the W6NUT repeater is a thing of the PAST

K1CWB, by all means, don't wait for someone else to do this, get the letter started.

It does seem a bit absurd that this repeater's still on the air after so many years of the same violations. The owner/trustee of this repeater was given formal notice, several months ago, to either take local control of the repeater (not automatic control, normally authorized for amateur repeaters) or shut it down -- as far as I can tell, that was completely ignored.

It seems to me that there have been several letters sent to both the &quot;control&quot; operator of the repeater and those who jam the bloody thing.

I hope they shut the machine down just to give me something else to read about!

The Webpage is not coming down, copy your audio files and present your case to you know who, the only person that has the authority to stop this kind of activity and their first name is Riley Hollingsworth of the FCC !
<span id='postcolor'>
It seems to me that Riley is doing just that... care to explain this??  Maybe copy us the letter you had to send to him here on this board?

You claim to want to clean up this repeater yet you form phony clubs immortalizing the known and convicted jammer Richard Burton and just what is &quot;Jammers for Jesus&quot;??

You are not the solution, you are very deeply part of the problem.

RE: Amateur license KB6IAT; Club Call Signs

Dear Mr. Crow:

Our licensing records indicate that you have at least 2 club call signs in your name as trustee. These club calls are as follows:

WB6FCC Richard Burton ARC

WB6JAM Jammers for Jesus ARC

You are requested, pursuant to Section 308(b) of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended, 47 C.F.R. Section 308(b), to provide justification within 30 days as to the need for each of these call signs. Where you are claiming that they are used by clubs, provide a list of the names, addresses and telephone numbers of the members, meeting times and dates within the past year, proposed meeting times and locations within the coming year, and copies of minutes, if any, taken at meetings within the past three months for each club.

We also request that you list any other club call signs licensed in your name as trustee that are not shown here. You may request cancellation of any unneeded or inactive club call signs. We intend to cancel listed club call signs if you have not satisfactorily responded to this letter within 30 days from the above date. You may call me at 717-338-2502 if you have any questions about this matter.
<span id='postcolor'>
