I can provide you with aftermarket separation cables for various radios. Currently I offer cables for:

    Kenwood TM-D700
    Kenwood TM-D710
    Kenwood TM-V71A
Yaesu FT-857 -- includes Quick Release Bracket.

I've been selling on eBay for approximately 7 1/2 years now. You can purchase there under the ebay username millscl or contact me on the forum or via my qrz.com email address.

Can you build a band data cable for a FT-1000 MKV Field and a VL-1000 amp? It's a backup radio and I used the cable that came with the amp for my FTDX-5000. It needs to be about 4' at least 5' would be better with a sleeve around all the wires.

    An idea on the cost?

For the time being I'm restricting this to the radios mentioned above or similar models. The reason for this is like many of the folks who will post here, I have a day job. I need to keep the workload manageable. It is not fair to myself, my customers or the ham community at-large to overwhelm myself.
