Good morning hammies I just wanted to know, is there a way you can find yourself on others' logs on QRZ, because the search is not working well and just takes me to my profile. There is one I missed and they mentioned they used QRZ for logging. I was hoping to find it on their logging page. I do know that if there is a match, things get confirmed on my end. What happens when you miss a call sign, is there another way to find out who logged you?
QRZ does not offer a means for you to search other user's logbooks. If another user is logging on QRZ and logs a QSO with you that there is not a matching one in your logbook, you will get a confirmation request which will give you the date of the QSO and the callsign of the requesting operator. You'll find incoming confirmation requests at the top of your logbook under incoming. If the only detail that you mis-copied was the callsign, you should be able to figure it out from there. Important note: If you do get the confirmation request and click "Review" it will open a QSO entry window for you to add the rest of the details. Be aware that the only two things a confirmation request provides is the date of the QSO and the callsign of the operator requesting it. All other data that form contains is just whatever defaults that come up at the time and likely do not match the details of the QSO. You must enter the rest of the data correctly in order to confirm the QSO.
