I have an Icom IC-7600. It's spectrum scope and waterfall meets my type of operating. What advantage would it be to add the HDSDR mod and HDRuno software?

 

It just gives you a bigger and better looking spectrum scope and waterfall. Pointing and clicking on signals, viewing a large portion of the band and so on (eye candy). The filtering works in SDRuno and HDSDR by widening and narrowing the BW using your mouse.

Personally I like the larger view and it makes it easier to mouse click on signals.
