SDR diversity RX with transverters?

    FYI... I posted a question on the SDR forum about using SDRs with diversity reception capability with transverters.

    Main issue is, does one need 2 transverters to do that? And any issues that stick out.

    Diversity receptions requires two antennas, so two transverters are needed, one for each antenna.

    SDRPlay's RSPDuo will do diversity reception with (2) discrete receivers and it tunes to 2Ghz. No transverters needed. If you must use transverters set the RSPDuo for the IF frequency. Maybe a solution?
