This is how they do it down under... In 2019.

What did you find? What will you find? What can you make from junk?

    :D:D

    Fun videos :)

Maybe that's how Pat MHZ got his start ;)

You certainly have to give the guy credit for being "frugal to the extreme" ... I love some of his "open the unit up carefully" techniques!

How much ya wanna bet........ he's single and lives alone :D:D

But for a homebrewer on a budget, there are worse ways to get oddball parts and materials to do other fun stuff when you don't have a lot of bankroll, or just want to keep stuff out of the landfill

Indeed! "Heavy duty force-precision techniques with blunt objects" :D:D

Thanks for posting these - put a needed smile on my face :)

Quick install the alarms on the garbage cans, you forgot to arm them again.

I found this broken Yagi, it might be useful to make a Yagi. It will end up on a table at a ham fest for 50 cents with piles of other crap i dont need or will never use. I bought these 100 resistors for $1 at a yard sale you could use these resistors to make a resistor I sold them for 50 cents at a ham fest and made a profit. I was going to make a parody video about scavenging, along these lines. In the end I didn't, while i think i am hilarious you know someone would get all sandy i was making fun at something they take way to seriously.

I have no idea what that means. I don't know the guy. It wasn't an insult - it was a joke. I know if I brought all that stuff home day after day my wife would no longer be my wife.

    Lighten up, Francis :)

Right now there's a whole box of old cellfones and chargers and cables and stuff out by my garbage can for pickup. I'm too old to be saving more crap.
