Scammer alert - hijacked call sign of N7MSR

    I was contacted by a person that high jacked Mark (N7MSR) call sign

    WITH A STORY OF MAKING A PAYMENT TO MY PAYPAL ACCOUNT THAT NEVER HAPPENED AND

    LOOKING FOR A REFUND! :)

    For example, what email address(es) did the scammer use?

    Indeed. Next it will be the "IRS" wanting back taxes, having tracked you down through your ham radio activities.

    After me telling him that I realize it’s a scam he is still emailing me?

    A lot of the Nigerian scammers just use scripts - they don't know what they're actually saying, but simply following instructions from "the boss"

    Many of these operations are large teams, working together on many scams in many places, all at the same time. It's their "job" - 5 days a week

    But do they really speak English? Probably not a word. It's all scripts.
