I have an Sb 200 amp and have a few questions. Bought the amp a few years ago and it seems to work ok. Y
The amp puts out about 500 W cw on 80 and 40.
I have the harbauch mods in for keying, soft start, and just the other day replaced the power supply. This amp has seen little use and has the original tubes.

    Here is the questions:
1, When following the tuning procedure in the manual, it states that the plate idling current should be 80mA. My amp reads zero. Is this a problem and if so what should I check to correct this?
    2. When tuning the amp on 80 and 40 meters, the drive control is almost all the way to the left (CCW). Is this normal?

Any help would be appreciated. OH by the way, I get good on air reports when using the amplifier and the signal looks good as reported by people with a band scope on their rigs.

The exciter is my 756 pro III and I have the alc connected.

Never mind everyone. I had a momentary loss of intelligence. After looking at the schematics, I realized the error of my ways. All is good!
