    seven three and godspeed

Godspeed, meaning "a prosperous journey," comes from the Middle English phrase God spede you ("God prosper you"). It was originally used to wish success to someone, like saying, “May you prosper.” These days it's more often used to express hopes for a safe trip.

It was probably neat to see. I have my own story on a similar viewing.

On Feb 15 this year here in South Central Texas, I woke up to no power early in the morning. That was during the big snow storm and cold blast of winter storm Uri. I went to our breakfast room window to try to call the electric co-op that serves us. While I was doing that I saw the recent Starlink Comsat satellite train go across the south western sky. It was just before dawn. With my eyes so well dark adapted it was an awesome sight.

Wonder what it will be like when SpaceX has up a bunch of Starships in close formation waiting to depart for Mars?
