The Sandford Mill Radio Museum in Chelmsford, England will be open to the public on Sunday 25th September between 10am and 5pm, admittance and parking are free.

The museums exhibits include spark transmitters from the late 1890's right through to some very QRO commercial transmitters from the 1960's. There is also a good selection of valves and early Television Broadcast Cameras. Recent additions include Donald Imber G0VIS's Ships Radio equipment and a Ships Radio Room.

See http://www.g0mwt.org.uk/eventfold/index.htm for further information on the museum.

The Chelmsford Amateur Radio Society will be operating a station GX0MWT throughout the day from inside the preserved wooden hut that housed the original 1920's 2MT broadcast station.
