Yesterday I put a ts-120 up for sale on swapmeet. I checked my e-mail and found a solicitation from a russian ham. Something to the effect of, I'm a poor old man in bed and I can't afford a radio. I checked the header for ip addresses and found three (that weren't mine) Two were for a server in amsterdam and one was for a server in del rey california. Is there any way to tell where he is?

geez that sounds like a e-mail I received several months ago, same sad story but headers show it did orginate from the west coast. Of course this poor man had a friend there that would deliver the rig to him the next time he was in russia.Scams and more scams. I don't get mad because of the attempted scam what makes me mad is somebody who thinks I am stupid enough to fall for it in the first place.
