A European hereditary monarch is marrying an American actress. This is like real life Game of Thrones or any of 1001 Disney princess movies come to life for some people. Remember royals were the ultimate reality show for thousands of years before the Kardashians and TV were invented  My own family moved away several hundred years ago because they did not care for this stuff, but YMMV ;)

Exactly, our ancestors left and today’s wackos venerate them.

But, hey, you could work a prefix that is very short-lived.

European royalty from those friendly blue bloods that married cousins to keep the blood line pure. Thus the term blue bloods which was Hemophilia caused my inbreeding along with other genetic defects.
    Long live the King!

It's not the first time a British noble married an American: Remember King Edward VIII and Wallis Simpson? Millions thought that was the romantic gesture in the world--giving up his throne for the woman he loved. Sadly, it wasn't a match made in heaven: She liked the partying life, he liked the sedate life, so although they were married for a long time it wasn't a happy marriage.

Why all the hoopla over yet another in-bred royal yazoo getting married?
