    Celebrate the 75th Anniversary of Route 66 with
    Route 66 On the Air!</p>


    This year’s version of the highly popular event features ten club stations along Route 66 using 1x1 calls (W6A, W6B ... W6J). Mobile stations operating on Route 66 have a special role, too.</p>


    A great certificate, available to hams working the event, will be endorsed for each 1x1 station worked, mobile-66 QSOs, and QSOs in any of three modes (cw, phone, digital).</p>


    The event runs from 0000Z 8 September to 2400Z 16 September 2001.
