    The Rotary Club of Midrand, Johannesburg, South Africa in district 9300 will be running a special Events Station with Call Sign ZS100RI in commemoration of 100 years of Rotary. The Station will broadcast from Olievenhout Bosch Communitty centre where Midrand Rotary runs a project called Thusanang. The Station will officially be opened by Glen Estes, Rotary International President on 12 March 2005 in Johannesburg and will operate untill 28 February 2006. The station will operate on all major modes on HF, VHF and UHF and frequencies will be provide in subsequent postings. a special QSL Card will be issued to all contacts in confirmation. the station will be operated by Craig ZS6CKB, Leroyd ZS6ROY, Tony ZS6AOG and Andre ZR6GFA for more info contact Craig ZS6CKB on

    Thank you for the information...Coincidentally, my wife just returned from a month in Peru on a Rotaplast / Rotary Int'l mission involving the repair of kids' cleft palates. Rotary makes a difference in many ways!
