    Ronald W. Hinkle, age 82 of Cedar Springs, Michigan, passed away on March 11, 2023.

    Ron was born in Ferndale, Michigan on January 6, 1941, the son of Roy & Myrtle Hinkle. He attended Redford High School in Detroit, Michigan. Ron was a master mechanic and worked for Consumers Energy and Cappon Oil. He was also a park ranger in Florida and Hastings, Michigan.
    Ron was married to Ruth Hinkle, the mother of his children, in his younger years and later in life, spent 40 years with his life partner, Agnes Rein.
    Ron's passion was his family, motorcycles, cars, and mechanics and his greatest joy in life was to help others. He was always available to help with a project or repair. He was knowledgeable and skilled in all areas and had the ability to figure out or notice things that others did not. He was very active with his family and the community where he lived; known for his great sense of humor and outgoing personality. He was also an avid Ham Radio operator, where he made friends all across the country. Ron was a generous man, a kind man, and a man of great care for others.

    Ron was preceded in death by Roy and Myrtle Hinkle and his life partner Agnes Rein.

    He is survived by his children: Kimberly (Dennis) Jeltema of Cedar Springs, MI, Kristin (Jerome) Burton of Grandville, MI, Grandson: Talon Drewel of Kentwood MI, Siblings: Jim (Karen) Hinkle of Dayon, OH, and Tim (Sue) Hinkle of Fife Lake, MI, nieces and nephews Nathan Hawtin of Oregon, Sean (Mandy) Hinkle of Estonia, Dawn (Scott) Campbell of Caledonia, MI, Tim (Cheri) Hinkle of White Lake, MI, Christopher Hinkle of Delaware, Ben (Aurora) Hinkle of Idaho, Greg Hinkle of Ohio, and Carrie Hinkle of Ohio.
