    Robert W. "Bob" Maichle, 71, passed away June 4, 2018.
    Bob was born November 27, 1946, to Elizabeth and Robert E. Maichle, at the BMI Project Hospital.
    He was a lifetime resident of southern Nevada. He attended Paradise Elementary and Bishop Gorman High School. Bob enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, attaining the rank of Sargent.

    He attended Nevada Southern University (UNLV), where he earned degrees in Anthropology, Finance and Computer Science. He owned and operated Nevada Auto Parts, taught classes at UNLV and was an Environmental Scientist programmer for Lockheed Martin.
    Bob was on the Board of Directors of Nevada Wild Life Federation, a member of the staff Best In the Desert, past president of M.R.A.N and the Gamblers Motorcycle Club.
    He was an amateur radio operator, call sign K7SN.

    Service and burial will be at 8:40 a.m. Monday, July 16, at Southern Nevada Veterans Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, in Boulder.

    A gathering of friends will follow at approximately 10 a.m., at the Boulder City Rec. Hall.
