    Richard Eugene Duffy, 80, of Glenmont died peacefully on Monday, June 4, 2018, at Autumn Leaves of South Austin in Austin, Texas with family by his side.
    Born in Watervliet, he was the son of the late Margaret Rapisarta and Richard J. Duffy; and husband of the late Marian Duffy.
    He resided in Glenmont since 1973 and moved to Austin, Texas in 2016.
    He graduated from Greenville High School, served in the United States Air Force from 1956 to 1960, and earned a diploma from the LaSalle Extension University in computer programming.

    Richard worked for 43 years at the United Parcel Service (U.P.S.) in Albany.

    He was a member of the Troy Amateur Radio Association and his call sign was N2TZQ.

    Survivors include three daughters, Karin A. Duffy of Dallas, Laurin M. Sgroi of Fort Worth, Texas and Sharin G. Perez of Austin; and three grandchildren.

    Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Applebee Funeral Home, 403 Kenwood Ave., Delmar.
    A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

    Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery, Delmar.
