Chris DL5NAM announced on the RF-Kit IO-Groups forum in a post dated November 15, 2020 that RF-Kit has now received it's long awaited FCC certification for the RF-Kit LDMOS legal limit power amplifier. The US version of the RF-Kit BA-26 amplifier is the model RF-2KS which up until now had only been available in kit form. The RF-2KS is an updated version of the very successful RF-2K+ amplifier. RF-Kit has also announced an upgrade path for existing RF-2K+ amplifiers allowing those amplifiers to also incorporate many of the newly developed features. The RF Kit is a heavy duty amplifier is capable of sustained high power operation that is, among other high duty cycle modes, capable of full carrier legal limit AM "old buzzard" transmissions.
