Chris DL5NAM announced on the RF-Kit IO-Groups forum in a post dated November 15, 2020 that RF-Kit has now received it's long awaited FCC certification for the RF-Kit LDMOS legal limit power amplifier. The US version of the RF-Kit BA-26 amplifier is the model RF-2KS which up until now had only been available in kit form. The RF-2KS is an updated version of the very successful RF-2K+ amplifier. RF-Kit has also announced an upgrade path for existing RF-2K+ amplifiers allowing those amplifiers to also incorporate many of the newly developed features. The RF Kit is a heavy duty amplifier is capable of sustained high power operation that is, among other high duty cycle modes, capable of full carrier legal limit AM "old buzzard" transmissions. The US distributor for the RF-2KS is DX Engineering.
