    I just noticed that someone now has John's old callsign as a vanity call. Kind of sad as I had hoped it would never be used again.

    I thought I'd see if anyone out there remembers John, an active ham in the Phoenix area till he passed away in the early 90s. He was a member of SATERN, Scottsdale Amateur Radio Club, and loved CW. He used to run a Kenwood TS-520, among other rigs.

    Just wondering if anyone remembers working John on the air or knew him personally. Feel free to email me on QRZ.
