Hey guys I'm lookinjg for some RELIABLE software to program my Baofeng DM5R radio. Everything I've found so far either doesn't work (CHiRP, UV6 Series) or no longer exists (I've seen SEVERAL broken links on SEVERAL websites to some RAR file that SUPPOSEDLY works but since I don't have the software, I can't verify that for sure) Can ANYBODY help me out with this one ?? I ESPECIALLY need help with programming TRBO/DMR repeaters into the radio (Analog repeaters (I already have mastered the art of programming both Wide & Narrowband) analog repeaters into the radio though of course software will help there too ) I look forward to your resounses Cheers & 73
Hello, You are aware that the DM-5R isn’t fully Tier2 compliant nor handles the Timeslots correctly and as such should not be used with DMR repeaters? It can only be used in simplex or with hotspots...
