Hard to know what's going on with 200' feet of coax. I'd try some open wire feed with the 80 meter antenna. It'll work on all bands with probably less loss than your coax. Jerry KI4IO Warrenton, VA

I talked with a couple guys in Texas the other day on 27 mhz AM. I was running 4 or 5 watts, and so were they. I assume 10 meters was open as well, but as someone near the beginning of the thread pointed out, since not many people are listening on 10 meters, hardly ever, no one was around the state of Texas to hear me calling CQ on 28.400 USB. If they were, we would have had a nice QSO with 5 watts. I just went back to CB land, and drummed up some non sense for a bit..
