Raritan Bay Radio Amateurs - Sayreville, NJ - K2GE

Hello fellow hams,

I belong to the Raritan Bay Radio Amateurs (RBRA) located in Sayreville, NJ

The Raritan Bay Radio Amateurs (RBRA) was founded in 1954 and our first club call was K2OML and we became affiliated with the ARRL in 1955. In the ARRL Summer 1955 Call-Book there was no listing for K2GE but K2OML was assigned to the Raritan Bay Radio Amateurs Club, Sayreville, NJ. In the Fall 1956 Call-Book K2GE was listed as John J. Hallahan of Perth Amboy, NJ.

Meetings were held at the YMCA building in South Amboy, NJ in 1956 and the club call was K2OML. The call was changed to K2GE when John J. Hallahan, a former member of the club became a Silent Key.

We were first incorporated as the "Raritan Radio Amateurs Inc" in 1969 and later changed to "Raritan Bay Radio Amateurs Inc" in 1974..

In current times our meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of each month. Meetings held on odd months (1,3,5,7,9, etc) are held "On The Air" at 1930 Eastern Time on the K2GE Repeater. Access can be made several ways listed below:
