I've been around ham radio long enough to see how it, and our culture, for that matter, have changed over the years. So yes, "we" HAVE become something different than before, and not in a good way. I think you noticed some of that. Too bad, really.

And I don't dare say it's going to get worse less that gets deleted and I get a lecture from the most high. Oops. Shame on me. Carry on.

    Meh.

I'm on 20 now as I type this, 3:31PM Toronto time, June 5.

For the last few weeks the HF bands have been, at best, confined to local signals (local=within this continent). On occasion I'll hear a European signal but the majority have been and continue to be with US accents and US callsigns.

    No Canadian accents eh?

The US accents, especially in the southern states, so unmistakable!

You are looking at her forecast, which is 2+ weeks old, and was only for the coming few days. She has a new forecast out. Go look at that.

If you like old out of date obsolete predictions, maybe some are stashed at www.archive.org

Yeah I hear them mostly on 11M. OTOH Canadians from VE4 to 7 sound like Americans. Then there are the Noofies like my ex.
