We will be on 15, 20, & 40 meters. FT8 will also be in use; as will Echolink via KB3KOW-R. The island qualifies for US Islands on the air MD020R. We will also be POTA for two historic trails (Captain John Smith US-4567 & Star -Spangled Banner US-4581) -NOTE Echolink contacts are not eligible for POTA credit. Will spot on DX Summit and POTA. A special event call N3V will be used and a 125th anniversary QSL card will be sent. Reenactments of that first voice contact and the morse code response will be done on the half hour. A model of a spark gap radio will be on display. Visit us if you can, contact us if you hear us. Contacts made with N3V are eligible for the island or POTA credit only while we are on the island Dec 23 10-2 (eastern) and only on the air not via a repeater (Echolink).
