Tuesday morning my truck was broken into in a hotel parking lot in Twentynine Palms, California. Taken was the "base" unit and mounting bracket of a Yaesu FT-7900R. This was just the main part of the radio. The faceplate and microphone were left behind, rendering the radio useless. The serial number of the FT-7900 is 1K360049. Also taken in the break-in was a Garmin Nuvi 255W car navigation unit, serial number 1Q6644396. This unit is password protected, rendering it useless as well. there was some loose change and several other items taken, but these are the most important ones.

If anyone sees these items, they can contact Deputy S. Ables of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Office at 760-366-4175.
