    Hi all,
I have tried with no luck to run power cords directly to the car battery. I have Ford Freestar 07 van and could not even find a small slot to pass the wires. Any advice how to run the power wires from driver's side directly to the car battery, please? thank you, Edy

    Drill a new hole.

+1 if you must to find a path, but remember to use a grommet so that the sheet metal does not cut into the wires.

Often times you can find some room to pass through your wires alongside the existing wires, but if that is not possible then drill a new hole, insert a grommet, pass your wires through, then seal the opening and wires, if need be, with some silicone sealant to keep rain and moisture out.

I have always snuck them in with existing wires. There is usually room to get something through.
