Radio Club of Tacoma, W7DK, will be launching the next cycle of General Class License Training at our clubhouse located at 1249 South Washington Street, Tacoma, WA 98405.

Classes are taught by long-time radio amateur and educator Dave Brooks, N7HT. Dave has a very engaging training style with a very high success rate (people passing their tests).

The RCT classes are NOT taught as "General in a weekend" but rather as full training in the core concepts involved, using ARRL and other training materials. Students who pass will not only have the skills to pass the General Exam, but also have real-world skills to bring to their Amateur Radio adventure.

First class is Thursday April 18th 2019, running every Thursday evening for ten weeks until the final class Thursday June 20th. Class starts at 7:00 PM and runs until 9:00 PM. Best to arrive a bit early - there's always hot coffee served in the kitchen of the clubhouse.

REGISTRATION is required.... [Click HERE to go to the W7DK Page - email link is at bottom of page]

Note that this specific course may not yet be listed - just email Training Director Stephen (again, link at bottom of the page) to ask about registration, materials required, and any other questions you may have

Other than required books, there is no cost for this class. It is ONLY done "in person" - this is not a remote class. So you need to be in the greater Tacoma, WA area to attend in person.

If you have any general questions, feel free to email me at my QRZ email address or send a PM
