Yeah, you want the bureaucrat at the FCC to turn to a colleague and ask, "What's the Amateur Radio Service? Have you ever heard of it?"

The proper reply is, "Your way down in the noise, try again please." :p

    Actually nothing
I think the FCC does not care
The fact that he called me a racist over the airwaves could be considered deffamation of character unless he can prove otherwise and I can prove it caused me harm which any lawyer would say this is a no case. Since my character would have to be proved damaged and it cost me something monetary which it did not.
I doubt the FCC would care also.
My point is this type of garbage is getting worse.
I near the F work and it is deemed ok.

I was just taught when someone says they are sorry multiple times than an apology should be accepted.

One can ask if a frequency is occupied and sometimes there is no answer and then conditions change.
It is just this new rudeness that I am seeing on Amateur Radio like people who think think they own a frequency and because they are on and anyone anywhere in the world hears them.

it might be new to you, but it's not new.

heard it in the 70s, and you hear it now.

    same old, same old.

Was going to hit like, but I didn't want to be misunderstood. I don't like how things are but it has been this way for a very long time now and not something to get all bent over. Unless you like getting bent over such things, then by all means carry on.

This is another one of those threads where I am left wondering if there's more to it, and what the other side's version of events is.

Seems like it could have been a case where someone was hearing both the CQer and some ongoing net, but where the net and the CQer were in each other's skip zone and could not hear each other. Happens sometimes.

Wonder what Burt @K1OIK would say to that kind of dishonest signal report?

    It should be interesting. :)

I wonder what he thinks about people trying to reserve frequencies?
