Lama Lake is a large freshwater lake of tectonic origin in the Krasnoyarsk Territory of Russia, approximately 120 kilometers east of Norilsk. It is one of the deepest lakes in Russia. In terms of the area of the water mirror, it occupies the 7th place among the lakes of the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the 40th among the lakes of Russia. About 20 species of fish live in the waters of the lake, among which are caught: char, nelma, grayling, palia, muksun, pink salmon, pike. The name of the lake comes from the Tungusic-Manchurian word "laamu" — sea, ocean (probably from the Evenk "lamu" - sea, big water). On the map of Asian Russia, published in 1911 by the Russian General Staff, the Lama is depicted very conditionally, far from the real outlines, and is called Lake Davydovo, although this name was unfamiliar to the locals.Lama Lake was first reliably mapped by Nikolai Urvantsev and S. D. Bazanov during the Norilsk expedition of 1921.Lama Lake is connected to the Shallow lake by the Lama River. The spring rise of the water level begins even when the ice is frozen. In the first half of June, the first ice movements are observed. In mid-July, the water level reaches its maximum level, and in early November, the lake is covered with ice. The thickness of the ice on the Llama ranges from 80 centimeters to one meter. The duration of freezing is from 200 to 220 days. The coastline is slightly indented, about 200 km long. The shores are mostly steep, high, rocky, often break off almost vertically to the water's edge. In the western part, the coast is flat, composed mainly of small and medium pebbles, boulders come across. On the southern rocky shore, on the terraces, there is a rare birch with larch and berry bushes with bagulnik in the undergrowth [2]. Many rivers flow into the lake. The outflow from the lake occurs along the Lama River to Lake Melkoe and then along the Norilsk River to Lake Pyasino.
    • Two nuclear explosions with a power of 7.6 and 15 kilotons, respectively, were carried out on Lake Lama near Cape Thin in 1975 and 1977 for geological research purposes.
    • On the shore of the lake there was a place of detention of repressed representatives of the former top political and military leadership of the Baltic states annexed to the USSR. Currently, a memorial sign is installed at this place.

Two nuclear tests for geological research purposes... mmmmm
but if one ppm energy released had been stored there, you wouldn'd have to carry yours.
looks as enchanting a place as Mururoa is (just kidding, I'm French)

Did you know there is not a single lake in whole Brazil territory?

    Successful activation /P
