That was a most enjoyable interview. It is even better when you know the person being interviewed and you know that he does live his hobby and it radiates to everyone he meets.

The first time I meet Joe was around 1974 and we were both at Fairchild Semiconductors. I was the field application engineer in New England and Joe had arrived in Boston from California on the "red eye' overnight flight and was ready to make presentations to customers with full energy. A delightful person to know and with a never ending curiosity and best of all: the ability to share it!

    Great job Joe!

I met Joe quite a few times while I was working at HRO in NH during the late 80's and up through the mid 90's. I always found him to be a listener, a very kind soul, not a gram of pretentiousness and a real ham's ham. I wish I had had the time to pick his brain more than I did.
