Today we're announcing several brand new features to the QRZ system. We've introduced a new menu system that makes it easy to find whatever you want, right at the top of every page. We've also streamlined the QRZ home page so it loads faster, and is less crowded and busy.

If you're not seeing some of your favorite items on the home page, just check the menu. They're all there.

One particular new feature is the Swapmeet Hot List. This is a new listing that combines parts of the old system and parts of the new, in an easy to read format.

Also take note that when viewing the callsign pages, the familiar Edit Record button, previously in the Detail tab, has been removed. Now, to edit any record, simply use the Edit menu item at the top of the page.

We hope you enjoy our new look and feel. We realize that no matter how well it's done, some folks will not be happy and we apologize for any inconvenience. We're sure that over time, you'll grow to like and appreciate what the new menu system has to offer.

Please note that these changes apply only to the non-forum parts of the site. The QRZ Forums will continue with the same look and feel as before, due in part to the fact that this software comes from an outside source.

    73,

I like it! Not so clutterd and much easier to see and find things.

First impression is that the response is quicker.
the look appears less "cluttered" as well.

    Well Done

When logged in your callsign is listed in the menu bar and the drop-down menu is a cool feature. Layout is easier on the eyes than the old one. Thanks for the upgrade. And the layout of the records themselves are much cleaner looking.

People always have a strong opinion of change. Change happens. Improvements can't happen without change.

Thanks, Fred, for the continuing updates of your site.

Looks good and does load much faster - thanks for the improvements! Wondering about the scaling for wider screens - appears that forum scales to width of display but new layout on rest of the site areas is locked to 1024 (?) width?

Change is inevitable but I liked the olde format... it's what you get used to.

I don't know if I like the new look yet. However, it does seem to fit better on an iPad or other tablet.

Why is this forum full width and my page shrunk ?

Change can be a good thing. However, one thing I have noticed, is that the drop down menus do NOT appear to be working with Firefox. IE, yes.

I seem to be having issues with the menu using an iPhone running iOS5, anyone else having an issue?

Considering I seldom run my browser in full screen mode, I like to pull shortcuts into the current view as apposed to getting most used ones from my favorites.
The new looks fits my operating mode better.
I'll have to log out and see what the ad-enabeled version looks like.
