An umbrella drink was responsible for making SONNY.

    Well, maybe that, too.

But the SONY story is a true one, and the company's founder did tell it...it all started with an umbrella drink, just after WW2.

Steve and I have worked each other many times as I have with other QRZ members. QRT for now until we move 200 miles west in a couple of weeks. Much better ham radio location than here as there are no very close mountains to contend with. For the time being my station (actually the antennas) will be a mere shadow of what I have had in the past but experience tells me I will be able to make Q's anytime I get on the air.

Thank you too, Mason. You folks sure do quick uploads to LoTW, I see. I never realized I had never worked CURACAO on phone before.

Well, I’m back from vacation, so I still have a shot at working you.
