QRZdroid gone ? (RESOLVED)

There are apps in the play store that will let you save the APK's from your phone to your computer. They can then be sideloaded in the future using adb.

 

I've done a couple of software updates on my Samsung S5 and the app is still there and functional as of just a couple of seconds ago. I do enjoy the app while operating portable. It's a lot easier to use than the QRZ.com website on a tiny screen when all I want to do is look up a callsign.

 

I just looked it up and it's still showing, Actually the first on the list when I typed "qrz".
If that's the case, I'll not delete it.

Ahhh !
Many thanks Fred for the quick restoration of a VERY popular app.
It's an invaluable resource for myself when I'm out mobile and on the radio, so I was shocked when I discovered it had been removed.
The only reason I went looking was that I had put a new ROM on my phone and of course lost a few apps along the way that weren't automatically restored

I love the app, both android and ios versions. Use it all the time.

I would love the ability to have a mirror search function as on qrz. Being able to search via zip codes or names like on the site would be a nice addition.
