Hi, I am trying to figure out why QRZ World DX award is not showing Djibouti as worked and confirmed but it is on QRZ logbook. It is on LoTW. Any suggestions?
I'm not sure which came first, this post or your support ticket, but from the support ticket: While you have J28PJ logged as Djibouti, they have themselves logged as Guinea and so the QSO is not counted because of this mismatch. You'll need to coordinate with them directly to determine where the error is. 73, Steve KF8KI
Hi Steve, thank you for your reply. I don't see where it says that they logged the QSO as guinea. Please see attachments, all show Djibouti, DXCC 382. This contact has been accepted on LoTw as Djibouti. Please let me know if I am missing anything just trying to understand better so I can address accordingly. Thank you very much.
@WX2CX if you look back at the screenshot I posted in my first response, it shows that you logged it as Djibouti, but they logged it as Guinea. That screen shot comes from your award analysis for the award. The screen shot you posted of your QSO record only shows YOUR log of the QSO, not the other operator's. You can't see the other operator's entry, that's why you have to look at the award analysis. That it was accepted at LOTW as Djibouti only means they accepted what you submitted. It doesn't mean it's correct. I do not know which entry is correct, which is why I said you will have to coordinate with J28PJ to determine the right answer. @KP4SX may be correct that they do not have their logbook set up correctly. They may also have been operating portable. Either way, until both QSO entries match, you won't get credit for the DX entity.
Thank you for the response, LoTw shows their logged input and me as the station they work. Their logged input shows Djibouti, and they show my station as the one they worked. I will reach out to them to confirm location and possible log correction. 73
