QRZ Logbook Hits One Billion QSOs with 46.5% Confirmation Rate

    We can hardly believe it ourselves. When we developed the QRZ Logbook in 2013, we hoped that it would become a vital tool for amateur radio operators. Recently, QRZ Logbook has surpassed a staggering one billion QSOs, cementing its status as a global hub for hams. QRZ now hosts logs from over 320,000 individual and club callsigns, processing around 200,000 new QSOs and 88,000 confirmations daily.

    We've also recently reached a 46.5% confirmation rate, meaning that nearly half of all logged QSOs are verified by both parties. This is enabled by a precise matching algorithm that confirms contacts based on call signs, date/time, band, and mode.

    Beginning in 2014, the QRZ Logbook has allowed integration with the ARRL’s Logbook of the World (LoTW). This further boosts confirmations, allowing users to import LoTW credits seamlessly, enhancing award eligibility for QRZ Operating Awards like the DX World Award.

    The QRZ Logbook has always been accessible to all hams for free but we also offer premium features like real-time uploads and ADIF exports for subscribers. Its cloud-based system ensures global accessibility, uniting operators from every continent.

    The one-billion-QSO milestone celebrates the amateur radio community’s connectivity, with QRZ Logbook’s robust platform empowering hams to log and confirm QSOs, and chase awards efficiently.     Congratulations on the milestone! My confirmation is 62.150% with QRZ Logbook linked with LoTW, based on 57,675 QSOs.

    Those are some amazing numbers! Congratulations to QRZ and all the hams utilizing their services!

    Stats for my current call just 2114/1414 or 67% (casual operations); prior call 26604/15682 which is 59% (including lot of contests but lower confirmation rate, oddly)

    What would be great, to arrange with ARRL to recognize QRZ Logbook confirmations also reciprocal for diplomas / dxcc

    congrats on the milestone. I just checked my confirmation rate is at 72%. I started my log on QRZ over 20 years ago.

    Each contact I log and gets confirmed is like a adrenaline rush...anyone can say they made contact with a station but in my book if it is not confirmed then it is just now valid....im over 49.8% confirmed

    Because of the efficiency and Simplicity of QRZed logbook, I just recently qualified for the DX World Award. As a matter of fact, it magically appeared on my QRZed page April 27, 2025.....:). Thanks for the simplicity of QRZed logbook, and all the nifty awards we can try to get racked up on our Zed pages....Not to mention there are hard copies of the awards available here. Recently I qualified for Master of Europe and have that one up in my shack....And in a couple weeks or so, I will have DX World Award up in the shack as well...,,
