Gordon has a good strong signal here (no surprise there)

    I think I just heard WA5KRP ... ? A little weak here.

(never mind, that WAS NOT KRP - sorry - nothing weak about your signal). Not sure who I heard.

Good 40 meter net, from what I could hear through the lightning noise.

On 20, the only ones I could hear were
    WK      Gordon
    KRP     Danny
and RT   Rob, but he was right at the noise floor.

Sorry I couldn't participate more, but wire antennas are not the greatest, and 20 was slamming shut here, like a huge barn door.
73 to all, maybe next time.

    BTW, Gordon,
The Force 12 is WORKING !!

Thunderstorms blew through here just after net time but I did at least get to check in . Now that the thunderboomers have gone on , I'm back on the air and on 20m . Danny and Gordon both have great signals into Alabama tonight .

I think the 20 meter net first, and then the 40 meter net later. Just to follow Mother Nature's propagation plan. You fellas did it backwards. That's my $.02

Well, I am here. listening...some weak signals and some strong ones too.

Melinda, it is amazing the difference a band makes, esbecially as close as we are. You were 5-9+10 on 40, and I couldn't hear you at all on 20.

That is true Heath. I can tell you are there under the noise but that doggone QRM [IMG]

Gordon, I had slipped off frequency and tuned up a bit more so that must have made the difference in the signal strength. Good to finally be able to put a voice with the fist [IMG]

Hey, I can hear Rob now!!! Very cool [IMG]
