    The Ukrainian QRP Club will hold its first QRP-pedition to the
    mountain Ai-Petri in the Crimea, in a period from 4 till 11 of May,
    2001.


    The main aims of this expedition are: to popularize low power work
    on Air, to attract the Hams' attention to the QRP movement, to show
    boundless possibilities for low power work, to test QRP home-made
    transceivers, to meet friends and associate with them.


    A special call of the QRP-pedition is EM5QRP.
    The members of the QRP-pedition are: RK3ZK, UR6IRL, UR7IRL,
    US1RCH, US1REO, UU4JCQ, UY1AW, UZ8RR ...


    The output power of the TX of the QRP-pedition members will be to
    5 Watts - CW, to 10 Watts - SSB. Work will be arranged mainly on the
    international QRP frequencies. RTTY and SSTV mode work is being
    planned too.


    Three correspondents, who will have the largest number of the QSOs
    with the QRP-pedition members on various bands, will get prizes -
    books, published by Igor Grigorov, RK3ZK.


    All correspondents will get a special QSL-cards confirming the
    QSOs. Those who wish to get the QRP-pedition pennant must address
    their QSL and 4 IRC to the expedition QSL-manager: UR7IRL, Vladimir
    Tretyakov, Post Box 41, Konstantinovka-10, Donetsk Region, 85110,
    Ukraine.
