    QO-100 portable “station” by VE4SW in IT9 currently active

    Minimalist setup and relatively easy to carry for a “QO-100” vacation in Europe:

    Radio (full duplex): Adalm Pluto (rev C/D);
    TX Antenna: 20 element 2.4GHz yagi for TX (2 pieces for small size);
    RX Antenna: 40+cm camping dish with Bullseye LNB, or use online QO-100 Websdr;
    Laptop (Win) with SDR Console software (has fullduplex operation, RX/TX synchronization, and LNB stability compensation), PC headset, PTT via PC keyboard;
    Preamplifier for Adalm Pluto (2.4GHz): Analog Devices CN0417;
    SG Labs 2.4GHz 20W amplifier (24-28V);
    Buckconverter (12-13V to 24-28V);
    Powersource 12V
    Cables, small stuff, locally sourced hardware, balcony with south exposure and motivation to experiment [IMG]

    Secondary setup:
    FT-818 and AMSAT-DL transverter, 60cm foldable dish, SG Labs 2.4GHz 20W amplifier, Modified LNB by Bamatech with 2.4GHz patch antenna

    Outside of Ebay, good source for most parts and equipment in Europe, with fast and reliable shipping, and excellent service is:
