I'm thinking a long ditch along the appropriate azimuth that deepens and widens to accommodate the expanding beamwidth. Borrow Musk's Boring Company machine for a few days....
Seriously, as pointed out up-thread, this was a spectacular opportunity for the ham community and we are extremely fortunate AMSAT-DL et. al. were able to accomplish what they have done. I'm hoping that this successful example spurs progress in other regions. If nothing else, it will stimulate a lot of ideas and gear for building 2.4/10GHz stations.
