Quite Likely You Need To Slow It Down...
Is it possible considering all the new code ops (digital converts) that the QSO length was a bit longer than they can tolerate? New ops who having a basic exchange down, now find the QSO heading into code groups that they haven't practiced? Another symptom of having no set aside band for CW newbies. Another possibility, but unlikely, your fist changing over time? It's hard to maintain a slow speed for long if you normally work much faster. Good luck figuring it out.
I've politely cut short QSOs when the other op's fist or sending was too bad to bother with. I don't expect or require perfection, but there is a limit.
YES exactly, that's the one !
