I wish there was a Q-signal for “is my sending speed ok for you?”

Sometimes you find out mid-QSO that you have been sending too fast or perhaps too slow.
The other ops sending speed is not always a good indicator of what they can copy.

A quick speed check Q -signal at the start of the QSO could help. Not everyone is willing to ask for QRS during a QSO but may be more willing to do so as part of an up front speed check.

Something I have thought about for a while

was looking for one Q signal vs two, since you don’t know which to ask. QRSQ? Lol

    "How Speed?"

In any case, the other fellow can reply to either QRQ/QRS? with FB, QRS or QRQ. Thus either question will suffice for both. No need for a new Qsignal.

Another Q-signal? Seems a bit like a solution looking for a problem, considering long established "QRQ", "QRQ?", "QRS", and "QRS?" more than adequately address the issue.

What Ever Happened To Asking "How Copy"? after reporting RST, QTH es name...??
I believe that will still suffice these days...
No additional Q Signal required Thank You... ;)

    Allow me:
    V V V

QSV - Please send a series of V
I get your train of thought: after you heard the V series you can send QRQ or QRS. Is that what you meant?

Should work fine too :) confirms that Q-Code might be underused.

Agree. We don't need yet another Q-signal to be morphed into an unintended meaning and have its misuse become standard operating procedure.
