at LEFT Whenever the Curiosity rover's wheel rotates, it leaves a message in morse code on the dust of Mars: JPL! at RIGHT "Dare Mighty Things". The JPL motto encoded (in binary) into the parachute used to get Perseverance Rover near to the surface of Mars and a landing in Jezero Crater. and the coordinate of the JPL ..... it seems that at JPL at least in the case of the rover wheels, there is a radio amateur in the design or direction of the works, hi hi 73 de IW2BSF - Rudy
These aren't all weird things Perseverance delivered to Mars. Do you remember the "Send Your Name to Mars" campaign? Almost 11 million people took part in it, and the Martian rover now has a microchip with all these names. Also, scientists equipped Perseverance with high-resolution cameras that let us enjoy HD photos and panoramic views of Mars. Even a piece of Martian meteorite was added to one of the rover's compartments. Btw, this meteorite was on the ISS not so long ago.
