    CSS gets special permission from Microsoft to show products running under Windows XP at Dayton Hamvention 2001




    Muscle Shoals, Alabama. May 10, 2001: Creative Services Software announced today that they will be able to demo their product line, Pacterm ’98, PkTerm ’99, MultiComm Host, Log Windows and Wefax, on the beta 2 release of Windows XP.




    In a letter dated May 2, 2001 to CSS President Rick Ruhl, W4PC, Laura Joseph, Program Manager for the Microsoft Windows Release Management Group, granted CSS special permission to demo its products under Windows XP at the Dayton Hamvention 2001. The Windows XP preview program begins in June 2001.



    “Following the Windows Style and Programming guidelines have allowed our products to run under each and every 32 bit version of Windows.”, said Rick Ruhl, W4PC, “Hams can be assured that each product purchase from CSS will continue to support the 32 bit Windows platform, as well as the 64 bit release of Windows XP”.



    CSS is in booths 112-113 at the Dayton Hamvention. The company will have a demo computer in the booth and be able to demo and talk about CSS software and the multiple Windows platforms it runs under.
