That sounds like Alaska.
PLC with an I/O module in a box under construction.
It's just going to count pulses from a water flow meter at work.
And those yellow items - the best explanation is that they are solid state relays, they are pretty neat actually. And everything is mounted on a DIN rail.
I like the wire guides too. That whole arrangement makes for a neat box (uncluttered).
Mississippi also has three seasons: bugs, bugs, and bugs!
Ha! A Portland TV station has a viewers photos feature and apparently the sunset yesterday was like the Kelso view all up and down the Willamette valley. It was quite a series of stunning photos.
I'm working now with something similar but with Siemens Logo PLC. To control and monitoring water pumps for a Rice field irrigation.
Drove up to the top of our local ski area this morning for setup work, some snow on the ground but not nearly enough to ski on yet. Just as well as we have a lot of work to do including several miles of new boundary rope line work after a major expansion this past summer. Drive up wasn't too bad but definitely some exposed curves on the way back down
I got home just in time to do a bunch of updates after installing software and such and take the new DJI Mavic Mini up into the sky for the first time just as the sun was setting. Yes...I'm legal. Did what I needed to do before it arrived.
Love those sunsets.
I love DIN racks. They use to be hard to find in US; fairly easy now.
