I see the Stude around Branchville NJ regularly. Found it at 7-11 for that pic.
Rear portal axle for another of my (way too many) hobbies - 1/10th scale RC crawlers.
No Watt's Linkage?
Actually from yesterday, but pretty nice.
The spud to to the upper right of the pinion shaft looks like a "half panhard" rod could go to it.
That's actually for the control to lock/unlock the differential. No, just a 4-link rear, although the trailing arms do cross inside to out and vice versa to help keep the rear in position, unlike how they look in the picture. The front portal axle does use a panhard bar. The last time I used a Watt's link was on a 1:1 scale Trans-Am car.
Big White Dogs herding goats-
On a perfect Fall afternoon around Altoona Kansas, I came across two Big White Dogs (technical term) herding a large flock of goats back to the pens for dinner feed. No humans involved. All concerned were working together moving from one field, crossing the county road and heading up the hill towards the barn. Everyone of them knows their place in the world.
My daughters pound rescue dog destroying yet another stuffed toy. She loves to disassemble these things, but never touches my daughter's collection of plush toys. She's one of the best mannered dogs I've ever seen.
Nice fall sunset in SW Alabama. You can barely see my tri-band vertical and 40-10m OCFD to the lower right.
