Some of my military buddies are having a hot and heavy discussion about the phonetic alphabet used in the late '50s and early 60's. Does anyone remember when they tried to change C for Charlie to C for Coca? To the best of my knowledge the change was made but later dropped because nobody paid any attention to it. Do any of you old timers remember this?
