Phillip W Pedigo, N6WHK SK Phillip Wayne Pedigo, affectionately known as Phil, passed away on March 23, 2025, leaving a legacy of warmth and friendship etched in the hearts of those who loved him dearly. Born on June 10, 1939, Phil embraced life with an adventurous spirit that guided him through his remarkable journey. Phil spent several years of his life serving in the Army. Later, his career as a butcher at the Navy Commissary showcased not only his skill but also his commitment to providing for his family. Beyond his professional endeavors, Phil had a passion for exploring the treasures that nature offered. There was something special about the way he would comb the beaches, much like a modern-day pirate, metal detector in hand, seeking out lost relics and stories of the past. The joy and excitement he found in those sandy shores mirrored the delight he experienced in other hobbies, including building model boats. Phil’s love of communication blossomed through his avid interest in ham radio. His conversations with people around the world opened doors to friendships that spanned continents. This passion for connection exemplified the kindness and generosity he exhibited throughout his life; he was always eager to make a friend out of a stranger. He leaves behind a cherished family that will forever carry his memory. His son, Martin Pedigo, and daughter-in-law, Jennifer, held a special place in his heart. Phil found joy in the love shared with his grandchildren, Daniel Pedigo, Heather Doran (Derrick), and Amanda Fowlke, as well as the blessing of 5 great-grandchildren who filled his later years with delight and wonder. Phil joins the ranks of his beloved family members who have passed before him. He is reunited with his parents, Emmett and Helen (Louise) Pedigo. He was also preceded in death by his sister Cherie Guerrero and his brother Robert Pedigo. His departure from this world came far too soon, leaving a void that cannot easily be filled. Yet, as we remember Phil, we celebrate a life rich in love, laughter, and adventure. His spirit will forever shine brightly in the memories of those who knew him, reminding us all to treasure life’s simple joys and connections. Rest in peace, dear Phil. Your legacy lives on in the tales told, the memories cherished, and the hearts you touched. https://www.featheringillmortuary.com/obituaries/phillip-pedigo
